Site drainage is an important
component of good historic resource management, as many
spring rains have proven. This Heritage Note will assist
building owners, managers and contractors in finding the
source of common drainage problems, and offer some
possible solutions. One or more of these solutions can
eliminate most problems associated with poor site
drainage. However, for more serious drainage problems,
consult a professional engineer.
